Management Lawyers

Landon has been practing employment and labour law exclusively since his call to the Ontario bar in 1996. His experience includes:

• representing employers before the courts and administrative tribunals on a wide variety of matters,
• representing employers facing charges under the Occupational Health and Safety Act,
• counsel to employers in wrongful dismissal actions and judicial review applications,
• appearing on behalf of employers in arbitration and labour relations matters,
• negotiating collective agreements,
• negotiating favourable and cost-effective resolutions of employment litigation in mediation sessions,
• advising clients on employment and labour issues arising as a result of insolvencies, amalgamations and acquisitions,
• advising clients in regard to employment and executive contracts, and
• advising clients to achieve cost-effective compliance with employment standards and human rights obligations.

Landon is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law.
