Landon P. Young - Managing Partner
Biography
Landon has been practing employment and labour law exclusively since his call to the Ontario bar in 1996. His experience includes:
- representing employers before the courts and administrative tribunals on a wide variety of matters,
- representing employers facing charges under the Occupational Health and Safety Act,
- counsel to employers in wrongful dismissal actions and judicial review applications,
- appearing on behalf of employers in arbitration and labour relations matters,
- negotiating collective agreements,
- negotiating favourable and cost-effective resolutions of employment litigation in mediation sessions,
- advising clients on employment and labour issues arising as a result of insolvencies, amalgamations and acquisitions,
- advising clients in regard to employment and executive contracts, and
- advising clients to achieve cost-effective compliance with employment standards and human rights obligations.
Landon is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law.
