OHS Networking & recent construction contracting decisions of the Supreme Court of Canada

The Supreme Court of Canada’s divided decision in R. v. Greater City of Sudbury has sent shockwaves through the construction contracting world.  Owners, general contractors and trades alike must adapt contracting and OHS practices to align.  Ryan Conlin and Jeremy Schwartz of our firm, who were counsel to the City of Greater Sudbury in this matter, will discuss the case and practical implications of the divided decision at an OHS networking event hosted by Tickner Safety, at the Richmond Hill Country Club on April 26.

All proceeds will be donated to Threads of Life, a Canadian registered charity “dedicated to supporting families after a workplace fatality, life-altering injury or occupational disease.”
