Amanda joined Stringer LLP after completing her articles with a prominent management-side labour and employment boutique in Toronto. Amanda advises and represents clients in all areas of employment and labour law including wrongful dismissals, occupational health and safety, human rights complaints, labour arbitrations and applications before the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
Amanda obtained her law degree from Queen’s University and was called to the bar in 2016. Prior to attending law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons. with High Distinction) in Criminology and Ethics, Society and Law from the University of Toronto, and was awarded the Trinity College Prize in Ethics, Society and Law for achieving the highest standing in that program. She also obtained a Master of Arts in Socio-Legal Studies from Carleton University. While at Queen's Law, Amanda was honoured to receive the Borden Ladner Gervais Professional Excellence Award and the Queen's Law Prize in Health Law.
